Biography

M-Recon (Melchior van Dijk) started at his 12th  with drum lessons.
He did this for about 4 years and has been substantially developed
a sense of rhythm. After four years he felt, that he had learned
enough in terms of drumming. After that, he was more interested
in electronical music, and therefore, he sought a way to do it himself.
Then came the day, M-Recon discovered a music program.  
From that day he began to interest himself in various styles.
At first, his interest was more in rougher styles such as Hardstyle,
Hardcore and Jumpstyle. He got inspiration from great
DJ’s like DJ Coone and Headhunterz. After about two years,
his interest in this style reduced, because he wanted to
try something different. Influences of DJ Tiesto, DJ Hardwell,
Axwell, Laidback Luke etc. brought him a big step further
to increase his interest in the Dance-styles. Therefore,
he began to produce Dance, Trance and later also House.
And now, at this point, after about producing for four years,
he’s producing fat house-beats. He’s getting better in this,
and after his dismissal from the producer-school in Tilburg,
his motivation became increasingly bigger, to do the best he can.
He continues to show everything he’s got. He is ready for
the future and expects to develop himself much better.
M-Recon has produced a lot of tracks, but now he has created
a track where he was really satisfied about. Therefore he sought
a label that aroused his interest, and started to contact Bunkerz.
He was very proud and pleased when he heard that Bunkerz had
confidence in this track. 'Alive' is going to be his first release,
and he hopes to produce many more in the future.
